What is the Y.I. Club?
The Y.I. Club is a fun and meaningful way to introduce children and teens to financial responsibility and faith-focused stewardship. Membership begins with a Y.I. StewardAccount®, where they can grow their savings and learn valuable lessons about money management. Beyond the account, the Y.I. Club offers engaging programs and perks that make saving exciting, rewarding and impactful.

It all starts with the Young Investors StewardAccount—an easy way for children and teens to save while supporting LCMS ministries. With as little as $25 to open the account, young investors enjoy premium interest rates, no monthly fees and opportunities to learn financial responsibility. By age 16, they can access online banking and even a debit card (with custodian approval), preparing them for real-world money management.

Extra Credit
Hard work pays off in the Y.I. Club! Children can earn extra dollars in their account by submitting good grades and completing community service hours each year. It’s a great way to encourage academic success and a heart for serving others.
Y.I. Stamp Program
Saving is fun with the Y.I. Stamp Program! Each $1 saved earns a stamp, and once 25 stamps are collected, the completed sheet can open a Y.I. StewardAccount or add to an existing one. This hands-on program makes saving tangible and teaches stewardship in an exciting, memorable way.
Take Heart Scholarship
High school seniors with a Young Investors StewardAccount can take the next step in their journey by applying for the Take Heart Scholarship. This annual opportunity provides financial support for the next step in life while reinforcing the importance of faith and stewardship.
