LCEF offers three distinct services to help your ministry thrive: Development Coaching to build a customized growth strategy; Principles Based Governance; and Mission Advancement Partnership (MAP) to create and support an effective development department. Each service is designed to meet the unique needs of your school or organization, ensuring long-term success and sustainable growth.
Development Coaching
With this service, a development consultant is assigned to your congregation and works with your staff to build a custom and comprehensive development strategy. Based on development best practices, your consultant will assist staff in creating a robust, calendarized annual development plan. This provides strategic direction that allows for tracking development activity weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
The year-long process involved in building this development strategy includes weekly meetings by phone with the Development Director at your school or organization to review goals accomplished and discuss goals for the week ahead. One time per quarter, your consultant will make a personal visit. These visits include meetings with the Executive Director and Development Director of your school or organization, individually and together. They also include evaluating prior quarter performance, discussing and establishing next quarter goals and looking beyond to anything that requires more lead time.
Principles Based Governance
Mission Advancement Partnership
The Ministry Advancement Partnership (MAP) assists your ministry in the creation of an effective development or advancement department and process.
In collaboration with the Executive Director and Board of Directors of your school or organization, we will create a job description for a development or advancement director role and assist in the search to fill the position. Consulting throughout the hiring process will be provided by LCEF. Once a development or advancement director is hired, LCEF will provide mentoring and coaching for the development or advancement director and staff.
At the same time as the hiring process, your consultant will begin developing a customized development strategy for your ministry. This includes assessing your current donor database, reviewing your development calendar and evaluating existing processes to create a comprehensive plan that supports your long-term goals and growth.
The agreement between LCEF and your ministry will begin as soon as the signed agreement and initial payment are received. The agreement will cover the hiring process (up to four months) and a subsequent 12-month coaching period to ensure continued support and progress.
