In its seventh year, the National Student Marketing Competition is an annual event hosted by Lutheran Church Extension Fund. Each year Concordia University System schools from across the country are invited to send teams of marketing, communication and business majors. Each team is given the same assignment. This year’s event is being held at Concordia University Chicago.

Teams will present their research and campaign to a judging panel on Friday morning. Winners will be named at the evening banquet.

In 2016, a team of four Concordia University Texas students took top honors for their multi-faceted marketing plan. Concordia College New York earned second place. Concordia University St. Paul–2015’s champion–captured third.
