A demand certificate with an initial minimal investment of $100 ($25 for a minor) and a variable interest rate.

A demand certificate, with a variable interest rate, requires an initial investment of $25 and a monthly electronic investment of $25 or more until balance reaches $10,000.

Fixed: A note having available terms of 6, 9, 18 months and 1, 2, 3, 5, or 6-20 years, an initial minimum investment requirement of $500, and a fixed interest rate.
Floating: A note having a term of 30 or 60 months, an initial minimum investment requirement of $100 and a variable interest rate.

The Special Interest Fund allows investors to contribute all or part of their interest earned from their LCEF investment for a specific time period to a specific LCMS ministry such as a congregation, school, mission field, partner church, social ministry, or recognized service organization.
